Overview
Fareya Azfar & Araoui LLP represents principals in complex commercial and investor-state disputes across institutional and ad hoc proceedings. We have experience across ICC, LCIA, DIAC, and Arb AD arbitrations, as well as bespoke tribunal procedures tailored to specific transaction structures.
Our practice is anchored in energy and infrastructure sectors—EPC disputes, drilling services agreements, E&P joint ventures, desalination and integrated power projects, and related supply chain disputes—though we handle complex cross-border commercial conflicts across sectors.
We manage the full lifecycle of arbitration proceedings: seat selection and tribunal composition, bifurcated liability and damages procedures, complex evidential protocols, and enforcement strategy. We have particular strength in enforcement and anti-enforcement of arbitration awards—we have successfully challenged award enforcement on constitutional grounds, obtained recognition of English Court Orders for nine-figure sums under the Arbitration Act 1996, and secured freezing orders to preserve assets pending liquidation of performance guarantees.
