With over 20 years of post-qualification experience, including 18 years in the GCC, Jade has been engaged in a variety of legal assignments across the MENA region, gaining valuable UAE and other GCC experience.

Jade is servicing his clients under a flexible platform comprising of the ADGM firm and several collaborative firms in the UAE (onshore license) and KSA, which provide direct access to the various judicial and regulatory bodies in these key jurisdictions. He has provided many years of legal consultation in the areas of regulated (financial) activities & compliance (Federal and ADGM regulations); Private Equity; Mergers & Acquisitions; Corporate/Capital Structuring; Joint Venture Agreements (JVA), Public-Private Partnerships (PPP projects), and many facets of commercial advisory.

Biography

Jade has authored many publications in regional legal magazines and presented several seminars in the UAE regarding a range of capital market and corporate matters. Jade is also an Adjunct Professor at the Sorbonne University-Abu Dhabi (SUAD), teaching the postgraduate program course “ADGM Regulations”, in addition to being a member of SUAD Faculty of Law’s Advisory Board.

Education and Admissions

Jade is fluent in Arabic, English, and French language.

He is admitted to practice law in the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.

Experience Highlights

Jade is a graduate professor of Insolvency and ADGM Regulations at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (SUAD). His coursework aims to bridge practical business law with academia. He also hosts briefings for visiting delegations on the UAE legal framework and takes on targeted teaching missions.
